Engagement

‘Engagement’ incorporates two large wedding engagement rings. Taking the place of the traditional diamond on top of the rings are two glass houses. The work captures the tendency toward instability. Standing under the giant rings, some may sense separation but some may sense encounter and union. It is the balance between the two that ‘Engagement’ addresses.
