Night Watch

Applying the Chinese fine art technique of inside painting, the artwork, “Night Watch”, inscribes a stunning variety of animal eyes into over a hundred crystal balls. The animals’ eyes are completely or partially submerged into the water to reveal the treasure of underwater animal life. The crystal balls are illuminated, like the mesmerizing glow of animal eyes. The artist’s vision is to create an installation that is looking at us as much as to be looked at.
