Gelebtes Holz (lived wood)

The work is between Autonomous Art and Industrial Design. The artistic theme is on materials loaded with history, time and traces of usage. The most basic material is wood that was used before as Tom Thiel found it in the streets or at buildings to be demolished. Some traces are added, starting a new life of the object.
